PHQ, APHQ staff observed two minutes silence on the eve of “Martyr’s” Day, Says Police

JAMMU, JANUARY 30: The Police today said that to observe the “martyrs’ day”, the Director-General of Police Dilbag Singh led the Senior Police officers, the staff of Police Headquarters & Armed Police Headquarters in paying homage to the “freedom fighters” at Police Headquarters lawns.

In a statement the police said, “Two minutes silence was observed by the officers & personnel posted at Police Headquarters & Armed Police Complex Jammu in PHQ lawns in memory of the martyrs who gave the supreme sacrifice of their lives during India’s freedom struggle.

ADGsP A. K. Choudhary, S. J. M. Gillani, Shri Abdul Ghani Mir, T. Namgyal, IGP Armed Jammu Danesh Rana, AIsG of PHQ, SO to ADGP Armed and other gazetted officers of PHQ & APHQ, staff of the two headquarters participated in this solemn meeting” it said.(KINS)
