Krishna Dhaba owner’s son succumbs to injuries 

Srinagar Feb 28 (KINS): Akash Kumar son of Rasmesh Kumar owner of Krishna Dhaba Sonawar  succembed to his injuries at SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Sunday morning.

An official told news agency KINS that Akash, a resident of Janipur Jammu, presently residing at Dalgate Srinagar succembed to injuries around 3 am at SMHS hospital Srinagar. Eleven days before he was attacked by gunmen and he had bullet wound in right side of abdomen. Politicians, civil society groups, traders in Kashmir have condemned the attack. 

On February 19, Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar while addressing a press conference in Srinagar said that three bike-borne newly recruited militants were arrested for carrying out the attack.

He said that the bike and pistol used in the attack by the trio have been seized. He said all three arrested were newly recruited militants and “confessed” to have carried out the attack. (KINS)
