CBK arrests accused wanted in selling spurious fungicides after 11 years

Srinagar, Dec 6 (KINS) Crime Branch Kashmir arrested an accused who was evading arrest since past twelve years in a case related to sale of spurious and duplicate fungicides the valley.

A spokesman of the CBK said Yousuf Bhat of Qazigund area on Srinagar-Jammu National highway in south Kashmir, who was evading arrest since 2010 and was wanted in selling spurious and duplicate fungicides, nabbed during a raid on Monday.

The Crime Brach said that eleven persons including Bhat were wanted in the case in 1998. However, chargesheet against the ten accused was file in the court of law but  Bhat managed to evade arrest for eleven years.

The accused has been produced before the Court of Law, who later on sent him to judicial custody, the CBK spokesman added.( KINS)
