Srinagar Dec 05: A road in Khoja Bagh, Raj Bagh, Srinagar, has been dedicated to the late Mohammad Shafi Bhat, a prominent politician and social worker in Kashmir.
As a former Member of Parliament for the Srinagar constituency, he initiated the road’s construction. The newly named ‘Muhammad Shafi Bhat Road’ stands as a tribute to his enduring contributions. The local community applauds the lasting impact of his services, and they also recognize Dr. Hina Bhat, Vice Chairperson of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board, the daughter of Muhammad Shafi Bhat, for her commendable work in the area.
