Security forces recover arms, chinese grenades from cave hideout in Kupwara

Srinagar, Aug 4 (KINS): In a major breakthrough, a joint 3-day search operation by the Border Security Force (BSF), Indian Army, and Jammu & Kashmir Police led to the uncovering of a stony cave hideout in the Kalaroos area of Kupwara district.

According to BSF Kashmir, the operation culminated on August 4, 2025, with the recovery of 12 Chinese grenades, a Chinese pistol with ammunition, a Kenwood radio set, an Urdu-language IED manual, and fire sticks from the hideout.

The timely operation has successfully thwarted a potential terror plot, further highlighting the vigilant efforts of security forces in the region.(KINS)
