Srinagar, Jan 12: Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, Army Commander of the Northern Command, chaired a high-level meeting with officers from the Romeo Force, Delta Force, and Ace of Spades Division to discuss the dynamics of Counter ‘Terrorism’ Operations in 2023.
In a comprehensive review of the terrorist activities, the Army Commander emphasized the crucial necessity for a profound understanding of the evolving landscape. “The meeting delved into the challenges and strategies required to counter the evolving tactics of adversaries.
Highlighting the strategic vision, Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi outlined the ‘Strat 24′ initiative for operational focus in 2024. This initiative aims to enhance operational preparedness and counter the inimical designs of adversaries and sponsored terrorists. The discussion during the meeting focused on adapting to the changing dynamics of terrorism, leveraging technology, and fostering intelligence collaboration for a more robust counter-terrorism approach”.
