Two militants killed in early morning gunfight at Tikken Pulwama

Srinagar: Two militants have been killed in the gunfight that raged in Tikken area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district since wee hours of Saturday.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 55RR, 180/183 BN CRPF and SOG cordoned off Tikken area after getting specific information about presence of some militants in the area.

Authorities have snapped the internet in the area.

Bodies, according to reports, have been handed over to their families for last rites.

Protests erupted in the area as well, and a spontaneous shutdown is being observed against the killings.
