Classwork suspended in GDC Pulwama, exams as per schedule

Srinagar: The Deputy Commissioner Pulwama ordered suspension of classwork at Government Degree College Pulwama on Saturday post gunfight in the district in which two local militants were killed.

“Decision to suspend class work was been taken as a precautionary measure,” sources said.

However, they said that the examinations scheduled for today will be held as per the already issued notifications.

Two militants were killed in Tikken village of the district earlier today. The militant killings led to clashes and spontaneous shutdown in parts of the district.
