IED planted by militants diffused in Bandipora

Bandipora: Government forces on Thursday claimed to have detected and diffused an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by militants along the Bandipora-Srinager road at Guroora village of Bandipora District.

Official sources said that the IED weighing 20 kg was planted  and would have caused huge damage if not detected timely by the forces.

Official further said that the IED was diffused without causing any damage to life or property.
