Illegal timber siezed three arrested in Baramulla village

Baramulla, Dec 30 : Forest Protection force earlier this day foiled a bid of smuggling timber in Baramulla village and arrested three persons.

Reports said that a team during naka which was laid at Ladoora-Jahama crossing siezed one Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK05 B 1315 loaded with illict timber.

Reports said that the naka party seized the timber and vehicle while arrested three person from the spot who have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf Khan (Driver), Bashir Ahmed Khan (Village Chowkidar) and Mohammad Younis Khan.

Meanwhile all the arrested smugglers were taken to forest protection office Baramulla and further investigation has been taken up in this regard.

Pertinently earlier at same naka many smugglers were arrested but as of now no one has been put behind bars.
