Hizb pays tributes to Zeenat ul Islam, his associate

 

Srinagar: Militant outfit, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief, Syed Salahudin, Deputy Chief Saifullah Khalid and Field Operational Commander Mohammad Bin Qasim have paid tributes to slain Al Badr commander Zeenat-ul-Islam and his associate killed in a gunfight in Kulgam Saturday evening.

Operational Spokesman Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Burhan-u-Din, in a tele-statement to KNS said that Hizb Supreme Commander Syed Salahudin paid tributes to Zeenat-ul-Islam, the Al Badr commander and his associate killed during a gunfight in Yaripora area of Kulgam district Saturday evening. He said Al Badr commander Zeenat-ul-Islam was a brave freedom fighter and his martyrdom has conveyed a message to the outside world that Kashmiris would continue their freedom struggle till it reaches its logical conclusion, adding that, “The martyrdom of Zeenat-ul-Islam is pain full for us.”

Hizb Deputy Chief Saifullah Khalid, as per Hizb Operational Spokesman, while paying tributes said the family of Zeenat-ul-Islam has been the symbol of freedom struggle of Jammu and Kashmir.

Hizb Operational Spokesman Burhan-u-Din in his statement quoted field operational commander Mohammad Bin Qasim as saying that the martyrdom of Zeenat-ul-Islam and his associate would further the cause of freedom struggle in Jammu and Kashmir.

Towards the end, Burhan-u-Din said, “special prayers were held for Zeenat-ul-Islam and his associate.” (KNS)
