Forces launch search operation in Bandipora village

Bandipora : Forces on Saturday evening launched a Cordon-and-Search-Operation (CASO) in Gundpora village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Indepth News said a joint team of army’s 14 RR , SOG and CRPF launched searches in Gundpora village of Bandipora and conducted house to house search operation in the area.

An official said following inputs about presence of militants search operation has been launched.

Pertinently Bandipora parts shuts on Saturday over rumour of local militant’s killing in Sopore gunfight spread in the area.

Two unidentified Jaish militants were killed in a gunfight at Warpora Sopore on Friday.
