Srinagar, Mar 05 : Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya pal Malik, Tuesday said final decision regarding conduct of polls in Jammu and Kashmir will be taken by the Election Commission of India ECI).
Notably, ECI is on two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir and convened several meetings with the mainstream political parties and top functionaries of government regarding the conduct of polls.
Governor while talking to reporters in Jammu today said, team headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) will be briefing the media persons and will take the final call on polls in the State on its own. (KNS)
