One-way traffic continue on Jammu-Srinagar highway

Srinagar  : “Both heavy and light vehicles, including trucks carrying essential supplies for the Kashmir Valley are being allowed to move from Jammu to Srinagar today,” the traffic department official said.

The strategic highway has not been fully restored for two-way traffic due of frequent landslides in the Ramban-Ramsoo sector.

A distance of less than 300 km which normally takes around six to seven hours, now takes almost 15 hours to complete.
