Kaneez Fatima joined NC

Srinagar: Kaneez Fatima Retired Joint commissioner Navodaya Vidyalaya Samithi (NVS) MHRD GOIjoined JKNC in presence of party vice president Omar Abdullah at his residence in Srinagar.

Provisional president Kashmir Nasir Sogami, senior leader and former deputyspeaker J&K Nazir Gurezi and Tanvir Sadiq political advisor to Omar Abdullah were also present on the occasion.

Kaneez Fatima is the first female graduate of Kargil District who wasqualified at that time when the people of Kargil were aversive of female education.

She has a record of apparent and best services for the society in the field of Education and social welfare programmes.

She has worked in the Ministry of Human ResourceDevelopment, Govt. of India on different superior posts at state and central level.

She has recently retired from the post of Joint Commissioner, Navodaya VidyalayaSamiti, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Kaneez Fatima has made valuable contribution for the cause of Educationaland Socio-Economic Development in Kargil District and has done a lot of struggle and made efforts for reformation in the society as a leading activist.

The credit for promotion and awareness of female education and their participation in various SocialActivities in Kargil District goes to Kaneez Fatima who has been a beacon light for the females of her native place.

Her contribution as a social reformer for the cause of women education and welfare in Kargil district is publically acknowledged and has gained recognition from the Govt. of J&K govt as well as Govt.of India (Deptt ofEducation) at various levels .She is recipient of number of STATE AWARDS for her contribution as a social reformer in Kargil district.She has represented Kargil in various national and international conferences for their educational and social upliftment in the society.She has initiated a lot of activities for educational, socio-economic andempowerment of women in Kargil District in collaboration with State and Central Govt. social welfare departments being a member of various Statutorybodies/Welfare boards/Committees and welfare projects.
