Public outreach programme held at Aloosa, Bandipora

 

 

BANDIPORA APRIL 24: As a part of public outreach programme and to get the first-hand appraisal of public grievances, a daylong public grievance redressal camp was today organised at Aloosa Bandipora under the chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza.

The camp was attended by the inhabitants of Tehsil Aloosa and adjoining areas with marked participation of senior citizens and youth from the various parts of the district.

Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, ACD Bandipora Jahangeer Ahmad Khanday, CMO Bandipora Dr. Tajamul were present on the occasion besides the other District and Tehsil level officers of the various departments.

On the occasion, people raised the issues pertaining to different sectors including revenue, health services, electricity, rural development, education, water supply, traffic management, Upgradation/ Black Topping of roads, irrigation and other basic facilities. The deputations of various villages projected demands viz, Fire service station, construction of bridges, Upgradation of schools and deployment of doctors and para medical staff to the Primary Health Centres. They also demanded installation of ATM outlets at various places for the general public. A youth deputation also raised the demand of play grounds to be constructed in the Tehsil.

On the occasion, the DDC listened public grievances patiently and assured them time bound redressal of all their genuine concerns. He sought cooperation of the people in better public delivery system. He said that the objective of such programmes is to bridge the gap between the public and administration in order to improve public service delivery. He directed officers to work with Zeist and Zeal for the betterment of general public. He assured that all the issues shall be taken up with the concerned departments for their fruitful outcomes.

The DDC on the occasion stressed upon the officers to provide every basic facility to the people adding that District administration is committed to provide every facility to the people of the district.
