BG 4th semester students aghast over irrelevant paper

Srinagar, Jul 29 : Students of BG 4th semester who appeared in Botany paper on Monday in the colleges of Kashmir valley expressed resentment against Kashmir University (KU) as they had to leave the examination halls after the paper was found out of curriculum.

Students told that they were surprised to see the paper of “Horticulture instead of Botany” which was totally irrelevant and puzzled the students.

A delegation of students said that Kashmir University has always been doing these mistakes which left students in the state of despair.

However, a college official talking to news agency said, “As the paper was found out of curriculum, students were asked to return back the papers, which were later packed.”

“The paper stands postponed as of now. New date for the paper will be announced accordingly by KU,” he said.

However, sources said, “Zoology skill paper was also out of syllabus few days back due to which students suffer.”

The students have demanded immediate intervention of higher authorities into the matter and said that no such mistakes should be done in the future. (KNS)
