PDP activist shot at in Pulwama Village

Srinagar, July 29: A PDP activist was injured after shot at by unknown gunmen in Matrigam area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday evening.

Reports reaching  said that the gunmen fired upon the man namely Lateef Ahmad Shah in nearby orchards at Matrigam village.

In the incident Shah suffered bullet wounds in his abdomen and was immediately taken to nearby hospital in critical condition for treatment.

A doctor of district hospital Pulwama told GNS that they have received the injured man.

After being treated, he was referred to Srinagar hospital in critical condition.

A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that they have taken coginzance and further investigations taken up. (GNS)
