Broadband to be restored in phased manner

After ten districts in Jammu and Kashmir were able to access 2G internet services on mobile phones last week authorities have now decided to restore internet services in other districts from tomorrow onwards.
An official told Kashmir Indepth that across Jammu and Kashmir 2G internet services on mobile phones will be restored tomorrow, while broadband internet services will be restored also in phased manner.
This has been a long pending demand of Kashmiris especially the student community since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 05 2019.
Due to the internet shutdown not only the essential services , business community and the media houses suffered but the entire student community in the Jammu and Kashmir were taken aback in absence of the internet facility.
