Family members of Khanyar lady among 13 people quarantined

Srinagar March 20 (KINS): Authorities have identified at least 13 persons so far who might have come in contact with Khanyar lady who was tested positive of coronavirus.

The 65-year-old lady who was tested positive for coronavirus had arrived Srinagar on March 16 from Jeddah along with 40 other pilgrims.

“At least 13 people have been identified so far whom she might have contacted. This include her son, his wife, son-in-law, daughter, and grand children. All have been quarantined either at SKIMS Soura or home,” the official told Kashmir Indepth News Service.

Her son in law who is an SSP rank officer has been home quarantined.

Nodal official for Covid-19 Kashmir Dr Manzoor Qadri said authorities have been trying to trace all people whom she might had contacted.

“Details have also been with states where she had travelled,” he said.
