Srinagar, March 20 (KNS): Panic gripped Tourist Reception Centre associated accommodations in the heart of Srinagar after administration brought in some students to quarantine them. However, the move triggered strong resentment among officials and members from the judiciary, including judges who stay in the TRC.

“We are not against quarantine but the issue is that if a suspect is brought to a place where people are living with families, that’s obviously the highest level of concern,” a judge, who lives in a TRC accommodation told Kashmir In-depth News Service (KINS) over the phone.

Many other members of judiciary expressed similar concerns.

However talking to Kashmir Indepth, News Service ((KINS) Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole said that some people including some doctors have been quarantined at TRC. “They have just been quarantined and that’s not a major issue. I will visit the TRC tomorrow in person and take stock of the situation,” he said and asked judges and other officials not to panic. Kashmir is already in a tight grip of panic due to the first positive case of Covid-19 being detected in the Khanyar area of Srinagar. (KINS)
