3.5 lakh employees ready to donate part of salary to strengthen Covid-19 fighting mechanism: DMEF Appeals people to follow Janta Curfew to save lives

JAMMU, MARCH 21: Darbar Move Employees Federation (DMEF) J&K Saturday convened an emergency meeting regarding Covid-19 fighting mechanism in place and appealed employee and general masses to observe Janta Curfew on March 22 (Sunday) as announced by Honb’le Prime Minister to save human lives.

Speaking on the occasion, President,DMEF, Ovais Wani said that 3.50 lakh employee of Jammu and Kashmir are ready to donate part of their salary to strengthen Covid-19 combat mechanism besides procuring special masks, sanitizers and other essentials for doctors and frontline workers.

He said it is our appeal to peoples to observe Janta Curfew on Sunday to break COVID-19 chain.

Wani also appealed health professionals, voluntaries and social workers to assist health department to combat the speared of the virus.

Senior Vice President Khurshed Ahmed, Vice-presidents Abdul Rashid Hafiz & Ghulam Rasool Paul,General Secretary Tufail Ahmed, Chief Organizer Tanveer Ahmed, Publicity Secretary Nazir Ahmed Khan,Treasurer Nazir Ahmed Bhat,Chief Spokesperson Er. Bilal Ahmed Lone, Spokesperson Javid Intikhab, Chief Coordinator Irshad -ul- Hamid,President Special NPS cell -DMEF Mohd Amin Kilo, Media Sec Sameer Ajaz Mughal and Presidents of different departments were present in the meeting.
