2 Covid-19 patients recover in Ladakh: Govt

Srinagar, March 24 : The government of Ladakh Union Territory announced Tuesday the recovery of two persons who were infected with coronavirus.

Commissioner Secretary (Health) Rigzin Samphel, who is also the spokesman of the UT Government, told both men, hailing from chuchot Leh, recovered from the virus and has been shifted to quarantine.

“We had sent their samples twice and both the times it came out to be negative,” Samphel said, adding, “we have kept them in quarantine to keep a close watch as the duo’s physical strength is week. Once they regain strength fully, we will discharge them accordingly.” With the recoveries, the total Covid-19 patients in Ladakh hospital are now 11 reported GNS.
