Srinagar man dies of COVID, death toll in JK reaches 9

Srinagar, May 07 : A 32 year old Srinagar man died at SKIMS Medical College Hospital (JVC) Bemina on Wednesday evening. His is the nineth death due to the respiratory virus in J&K.

Daily Excelsior quoted Nodal Officer Government Medical College Srinagar, Dr Salim Khan as saying that a 32 year old from Alamgari Bazar in Srinagar died in isolation ward of SMHS hospital. He said that he later tested positive for Coronavirus. He had no other illness and this is such first case in Jammu and Kashmir where Corona had aggressive course.

He said that father of the deceased is admitted to Super-Specialty Hospital Shireen Bagh Srinagar and the man was his attendant. He is the contact of the already Corona positive man who was attendant of a patient in the Super-Specialty Hospital Daily Excelsior reported.
