5 doctors test positive for COVID-19 in Kashmir

11 more travellers test positive at Army’s command hospital Udhampur

Srinagar, May 18 : Five doctors and 11 travellers  tested positive for covid-19 in J&K  on Sunday late night taking tally of total positive cases in the  Union Territory to 1199.

Dr Salim Khan Nodal officer for covid-19 at GMC Srinagar told news agency— that five doctors including three from ENT section of SMHS, one from Dental college and one from SKIMS MCH Bemina tested positive on Sunday evening.

He further added that a 29- year -old covid-19 positive lady from Habba Kadal who died on Sunday at CD hospital was treated by a doctor from Dental college besides doctors of ENT section of Shri Maharaja hospital Srinagar.

Meanwhile, Lt Col Inam Danish Khan from Army’s Command hospital Udhampur told that 11 travellers  from Udhampur and Kulgam tested positive for COVID- 19 at the hospital on Sunday late night.

With 16 new cases, tally of total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir have reached to 1199—(KNO)
