10 more tippers seized for illegal mining in Varmul: Police


Srinagar, June 03
(KINS): The police in Baramulla town seized ten (10) more tippers involved in illegal mining in the district.


Station House officer Baramulla Syed Gazanfar talking with news agency KINS said after received information regarding the illegal mining of sand from the town a team swung into action and carried night-time checks across the town and seized ten more sand-laden tippers. He said a case FIR number 70/2020 U/S 188, 269 IPC has been registered and further investigation into the matter has been initiated.


Pertinently, On Tuesday 15 tippers for violating lockdown restrictions were seized in town. (KINS)
