BANDIPORA, JUNE 10: Indian System of Medicine (AYUSH) Wednesday distributed immunity boosters among frontline workers including Police personnel at Sumbal and Hajin to boost the natural immunity of frontline workers fighting COVID19.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sumbal Dr. Bashir Lone on the occasion highlighted the role of immunity boosters in maintaining optimum health by enhancing the body’s natural defense system (immunity) to fight covid-19 pandemic.
He said the immune booster medicines are being distributed as per protocol issued by the Ministry of AYUSH Government of India and following the direction of Director Indian System of Medicine (ISM) J&K.
He said these immunity booster medicine is being distributed free of cost by the Department of Indian System of Medicine (AYUSH) and informed that more than 7000 immunity-boosting medicine has been distributed among the frontline workers, red zone Areas and buffer zones across the district.
Among others the program was attended by Divisional Nodal Officer, BMO Hajin Sumbal, SHO Sumbal, SHO Hajin and other officials of the district.
