PHE Division Sopore cracks-down on illegal water connections and online boosters

BARAMULLA, JUNE 22: In a bid to check the illegal use of online boosters on water connections, functionaries of PHE division Sopore today conducted a crackdown wherein several online boosters/equipments were seized.

The drive was launched with an aim to ensure equitable and adequate supply of drinking water that gets affected due to use of these boosters and misuse for irrigation of kitchen gardens, car wash etc.

Executive Engineer PHE Division Sopore said that such drives shall be carried out on routine basis.

He however urged the people to refrain from misuse of drinking water in kitchen gardens etc failing which legal action shall be taken against the violators.
