Minor boy’s body fished out from Jhelum in Uri

Uri, August 06(KINS): The body of a 10-year-old boy was recovered from Jhelum in Uri sector of Baramulla district on Thursday, a day after he drowned in the Jehlum.

An official told KINS that the body was recovered by a rescue team comprising police, army, SDRF and locals from Uri this afternoon.

Pertinently, On Wednesday bathing in a river to beat the summer heat proved fatal for a 10-year-old boy identified as Mohammad Momeen son of Javaid Ahmad Chalkoo of Silikote.(KINS)
