Phase-II DDC, Panchayat by-Polls: 60 Polling parties dispatched for Dacchan, Paddar


Srinagar, Nov 29 (KINS): District Administration Kishtwar, headed by District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Ashok Kumar Sharma, today dispatched 60   polling parties to Dacchan and Paddar which are going to polls under the phase II of eight phase District Development Council elections and Panchayat by-polls.
The polling parties left here from District Headquarter Kishtwar in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar, Pawan Parihar, Joint Director Planning Mohd. Iqbal, Dy. DEO Kishtwar, Masood Ahmed Bichoo, BDO Mughalmaidan Arun Badyal, ARTO Kishtwar Er. Kuldeep Singh, ENT Kishtwar Angrez Singh Jasrotia, Inspector MVD Kishtwar Sanjeev Parihar, Micro Obsevors, Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates, besides officers of civil administration and Police remained present on the occasion.
The DPEO Kishtwar informed that  35 polling parties were dispatched  to Padder and 25 to  Dacchan blocks in advance so that they could reach on time to their respective locations. He further added that an adequate number of security personnel have been deployed along with polling parties.
He appealed the general public of District Kishtwar to actively participate in the election process and make it a grand success for strengthening of grass root democracy.(KINS)
