First Woman Driver Pooja Devi calls on DC Kathua


KATHUA, JANUARY 23: The first Woman Driver of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Pooja Devi today called on Deputy Commissioner Kathua Om Prakash at his office.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated Pooja Devi, the First Woman Driver from Plani, Sander area of Basohli tehsil of District Kathua.
During the interaction, the DC said that she has emerged as a role model for other women/girls who want to choose the profession of their choice. He said that her step in the field of professional driving will encourage other girls/women who want to pursue driving as the profession of their choice.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pooja Devi of Sander area of Tehsil Basohli in Kathua District has become First Professional Woman Driver of Union Territory of Jammu And Kashmir.
