DC Kupwara inspects vaccination drive in Kralpora, Ramhal block

 

Kupwara June 28 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today visited various areas of the district to take stock of the ongoing vaccination process.

During the visit, the DC inspected vaccination centres established at Gushi, Kralpora and Ramhal block.

At Ramhal, the DC chaired a joint meeting of officers, field functionaries and PRIs in which thorough awareness was provided regarding benefits of vaccination and intensifying of vaccination drive.

The DC directed the concerned to intensify the door to door vaccination drive and ensure the achievement of the target within the stipulated time frame.  He directed the Manager J&K Bank Vilgam to stop the payment to beneficiaries without vaccination certificate.

He also asked all the stakeholders to support the vaccination drive to ensure complete eradication of Covid pandemic from the district.

Meanwhile, on the directions of DC, SDM Karnah Dr. Gulzar Ahmad inspected various vaccination centres and reviewed the pace of vaccination drives being carried out in the border sub division. (KINS
