DDC Kulgam reviews progress of ongoing dev projects in district

Stresses for utilising work season efficiently

KULGAM, JUNE 29 (KINS): The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of district officers and Engineers of various executing agencies to take the first-hand appraisal of various developmental projects in the district.

He directed the Engineers to expedite the pace of work on the projects so the work season will be efficiently utilized for their timely completion.

He also sought a detailed account of various developmental works under different sectors from the concerned officers who briefed him about the physical and financial progress on the implementation of several projects.

The DDC also reviewed the status of various  ongoing projects and works approved in the Back to Village programme.

He also stressed for regular monitoring of works and directed the district heads to meet the targets and set timelines for the completion of vital projects in the district.

The DDC also took stock of the estimation process of new works to be executed under District Capex and directed the  concerned to ensure completion and submission of  pending estimates within days.

The DDC also took a detailed review of work projects of the Education, Health, irrigation and RDD sectors.

The meeting among others was attended by ACD, ACR,CPO,ACP,  CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers of PHE, R&B, PDD and irrigation. (KINS)
