Chairperson DDC Rajouri, DC interact with SASCM beneficiaries

RAJOURI, JUNE 30 (KINS): District Development Council Chairperson, Advocate Naseem Liaqat and Deputy Commissioner Rajouri today interacted with the Saksham beneficiaries here in the Conference Hall of the DDC office complex.

Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Pawan Kumar; DSEO, Bilal Mir and DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhat were also present.

The Deputy Commissioner handed over thirty-seven scholarships and an equal number of pension sanction letters to the families of Covid victims under the scheme.

The Deputy Commissioner while interacting with the beneficiaries said that the District Administration Rajouri is always with them in these tough circumstances and assured full support to them in this time of difficulties.

The beneficiaries thanked the Deputy Commissioner and appreciated the District Administration for its concern for the needy families amid the pandemic.

The District Development Council Chairperson Adv Naseen Liaqat also interacted with the beneficiaries and said DDC council Rajouri is committed to extend all possible support to the families and students who lost their only bread earner in this pandemic.

He also thanked the J&K LG for reaching out to the victim families for their rehabilitation. (KINS)
