DIPR Culture Wing organises Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour

JAMMU, JULY 01(KINS): The Culture Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) Jammu is organising a series of webinars on “Covid Appropriate Behaviour” in collaboration  with various organisations and educational institutions.

In this regard, a webinar on the topic was  held today in collaboration with Dewan Badrinath Vidya Mandir, Mubarak  Mandi Jammu.

Principal of the DBN School, Sonika Mahajan was the chief guest, while Joint Director Information, Jammu, Namrita Dogra was the guest of honour. Field Publicity Officer, JDI Jammu, Shivani Deonia was present as special guest.

Welcome speech was delivered by Kamini Nanda, Ramcharitmanas Chopaiyan was performed by Vrinda and proceedings were conducted by Senior Cultural Assistant, Suresh Kumar

A cultural programme featuring songs was presented by the artists of Information Department Bunty Shah, Balbir Singh and Mohinder Panchairvi .

Speaking on the occasion, JDI Jammu and Field Publicity Officer, highlighted various components of covid appropriate behaviour and called upon  the participants to observe social distancing, wear face masks all time, avoid outing without any reason to stay safe from the corona virus.

In his address, the chief guest lauded the efforts of Information Department for conducting the thought provoking awareness programme for the safety of the people.

In all 10 students spoke on the topic and shared their views about the importance of covid appropriate behavior amid the pandemic.

Vishakha bagged 1st position, Manya stood 2nd and Maitri was adjudged 3rd, while Bhavya and Samya won consolation prizes. The programme was judged by Pallavi Dubey, Pooja Mahajan and Radhika. (KINS)
