Srinagar, Jul 8 ( KINS) Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday claimed to have arrested five girls for allegedly running sex racket in Srinagar city outskirts.
Official sources said, a police party from Police Station (PS) Batmaloo raided a place at Tengpora in the city outskirts following a tip off about sex racket.
They said five girls from different parts of the city were arrested.
The girls were later lodged in Women police station Rambagh in the uptown.
A case under section 3, 4, 5, 7 of immoral traffic prevention act has been registered in PS Batamaloo and further investigation is being carried out, they added. ( Source UNI)
