LAWDA conducts demolition operation at Dojji Mohalla NFR, Hazratbal, Nigeen

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 03 ( KINS ):  The Enforcement Wing of Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) under the supervision of Enforcement officers Ab. Aziz Qadri and Zahid Aziz Samoon and in presence of SDPO Zakura conducted a special demolition operation in the areas of Dojji Mohalla NFR, Hazratbal and Nigeen.

During the demolition operation two 2nd storey houses, one single storey house, three shops, tin walling at five different locations and one plinth/tin shed were demolished which were raised illegally.

Also some building material in the shape of Sand/Bajri was seized from Nigeen Saderbal.

The demolition was carried out with the assistance of police station Nigeen.

During the demolition operation, the team of the Enforcement Wing of LDA removed the illegal constructions despite huge resistance from the public.

Meanwhile, it was given out that strict action shall be taken against those found indulging in any sort of illegal constructions/encroachments in LDA jurisdiction. ( KINS )
