Srinagar, Aug 17 (KINS) Two former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti besides Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) have strongly condemned the killing of BJP leader Javid Ahmad Dar by militants in south Kashmir district of Kulgam on Tuesday.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter Vice President of the National Conference (NC) Omar said “Terrible news from Kulgam. Javved Ahmed was gunned down in cold blood. I unreservedly condemn this terror attack & send my heartfelt condolences to Javved’s family and colleagues. May Allah grant him place in Jannat”.
President of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba said “ Condemn the killing of BJP leader Javaid Dar & there is no place for such acts of violence. Sympathies & condolences to his family”.
BJP senior leader Manzoor Bhat said the party has strongly condemned the killing of Javeed Dar by militants in Kulgam. Shameful and cowardly act. My deepest condolences with them, and prayed for courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
