DDC Shopian reviews issues, demands raised during Public Outreach programme

SHOPIAN, AUGUST 26 ( KINS ) : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of officers to review all the issues/demands raised during public outreach programmes at various blocks and villages of the district.

During the meeting threadbare discussion was held regarding the various ongoing projects/works being executed by various executing agencies.

The concerned officers briefed the chair about the progress of works taken under different schemes. The meeting also discussed the bottlenecks hindering the progress of the works.

The DDC impressed upon the concerned officers to gear up the field functionaries so that the approved projects/works are completed within a set timeline.

Vaishya exhorted all the officers present in the meeting to work with dedication and stressed that all the works should be completed within the shortest possible time and leave no stone unturned in facilitating the people who have great expectations with the Government. He warned that no laxity of any kind will be tolerated in this regard.

The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Shopian, Arshad Hussain Tak,Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmed, District Youth Services And Sports Officer, Gurmukh Singh Dutta, Tehsildars, Ex. Engineers, CAHO, DGM JKPCC, BDOs, Officers from FCS&CA and other concerned.
