Kishtwar:Farm Machinery provided to Panchayats on 100% subsidy under CAPEX budget 2021-22

 

KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 05 ( KINS): Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Kishtwar provided different types of 100 percent subsidized Farm Machinery to the Panchayats under CAPEX budget 2021-22 on the auspicious Occasion of Diwali.

District Agriculture Officer Kishtwar Dr. Vinay Kumar Jandiyal and other officers and field functionaries on Deepwali reached out to the Panchayats and provided Maize shellers and Paddy Thrashers for the use of the farming community.

The distribution operation was conducted under the supervision of Chief Agriculture Officer Kishtwar, S K Bhagat and overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Sharma.

During the distribution of the Farm Machinery Dr.Jandial extended his Deepwali greetings to the farming community and advised them to follow Covid-19 SOPs and other guidelines issued by the government during the operation of agriculture activities for Rabi 2021-22.

He assured the farmers that he along with other Officer/Officials of the department are available round the clock  to help the farming community to achieve the goal of Doubling the farmers income, the most cherished dream of the PM of India.

Lorine Kousar, Agriculture Extension Officer, Kandani thanked the PRIs and other Farmers of District Kishtwar for their cooperation and stressed on them to use the modern techniques and technology in agriculture practices. ( KINS)
