DDC Shopian reviews progress under District Capex Budget

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 16 .( KINS): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today reviewed the physical and financial progress made under District Capex Budget with the concerned officers of Jal Shakti, R&B, PDD, Health, RDD, Education, Urban Development etc at Mini Secretariat Arhama, here.

The meeting was informed that good progress has been achieved under the District Capex Budget and other schemes. It was also given out that NRLM has also witnessed good progress.

The DC directed the officers to expedite the expenditure process and focus on maximum achievement up to 31st March. He impressed upon the officers to focus on areas of immediate public interest and prioritize the works accordingly.

Highlighting the importance of timely completion of projects, the DC asked the officers to sort out the hindrances related with Right of Works, contractors, litigations etc in a meticulous way with effective interdepartmental coordination.

The officers on the occasion put-forth various issues confronting them in the execution of some vital schemes. The DC assured them full support to remove all bottlenecks for sustainable and holistic development in the district.

The meeting was attended by SE R&B, Circle Shopian, Ex. Engineers of

PHE, DYSS and PDD besides ACD, CMO, CPO, CEO and EO of Municipal Committee among other concerned. .( KINS)
