Army Soldier drowns in Kishanganga River in Gurez

Srinagar, August 27: An Army soldier died after reportedly falling into the Kishanganga River near Tarbal village in the Gurez area of Bandipora district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Ashiq Hussain Khan.
Following the incident, a rescue operation was launched, and his body was recovered from the river. The body was later shifted to Dawar Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and started an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the mishap.(KINS)
