Tourism Deptt Kashmir conducts capacity building programme for Tourism stakeholders

 

Dir Tourism distributes ‘I Am Vaccinated’ Batches distributed among 200 cab drivers to make Tourists feel comfortable

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 17 ( KINS):  The Tourism Department today organised a Capacity Building Programme at Srinagar International Airport for various stakeholders associated with the Tourism sector on the implementation of COVID-19 appropriate protocols.

On the occasion, ‘I Am Vaccinated’ Batches were distributed among more than 200 cab drivers, in order to make Tourists feel comfortable while interacting with these Service Providers.

The programme was presided over by  Director Tourism Kashmir, GN Itoo while as  Director Airport Authority, SP Singh, other senior officers and officials of the department besides various tourism stakeholders were present during the programme.

While addressing the participants, GN Itoo highlighted the importance of awareness with respect to COVID-19 and following of protocols while carrying out their profession regarding tourism.

He said that the programme would guide the cab drivers and other stakeholders in order to carry out their activities in safe environment post COVID-19 scenario, besides the tourists will also feel safe and comfortable during their visit to the place.( KINS)
