Enrollment rally held at Shopian

 

SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 22 ( KINS): A mega enrollment drive was held today in village Melhura Zone Imamsahib at Government Boys Middle School Melhura presence of Chief Education Officer, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed, who was also the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Zonal Education Officer, Imamsahib, Officers and other resource persons also participated in the drive.

On the occasion, people were made aware about the free facilities being provided by the Government in schools besides the meticulous results and the performance of Government school children in various fields of life.

Addressing the participants, the Chief Education Officer said that providing quality education to the students is their priority. He stressed upon the teachers and others concerned to toil hard for ensuring meaningful enrollment in their respective schools.

CEO emphasised on strengthening the structure at grassroots level and exercising extra efforts on part of the teaching community.

With the overwhelming response from the community and strenuous efforts of field staff, 25 new admissions were done on spot in BMS Melhura taking the cumulative roll of school to 194.

The enrollment process will further continue across various schools of the district till the accomplishment of desired targets.( KINS)
