SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 23 ( KINS): The Rural Development Department (RDD) Authorities today blacklisted one Contractor namely Shahnawaz Ahmed Dar S/O Gh. Qadir Dar R/O Kanjoo Rajpora from execution of any kind of work of RDD Shopian with immediate effect.
The said Contractor has been blacklisted as despite issuing notices repeatedly, he failed to complete the works of RDD, and henceforth, he has been blacklisted from execution of any kind of work of RDD.
Besides, it has been given out that the same procedure of blacklisting shall be followed in case of all other contractors not responding to the instructions.
Taking strong note of delay in works, the Rural Development authorities have directed the concerned to find out the reasons for delay of developmental works in the district.
Further, the officers of the department have been directed to blacklist the poor performing contractors and expedite the pace of ongoing development works in their respective areas.( KINS)
