Div Com reviews progress on issuing NOC’s to pending mining blocks

 

Directs officers to prepare fresh ground reports, warns action against dereliction

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 09 ( KINS): The Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today chaired a meeting to review progress on issuing NOC’s of mining leases of pending mining blocks in Baramulla, Kulgam and Pulwama districts.

During the meeting, Div Com directed officers of Fisheries, PHE, I&FC, Wildlife and Social Forestry departments to prepare a fresh report and update on the progress of issuing NOC’s to pending blocks.

He warned officers that dillydallying approach of wasting time will not be accepted and further directed them to complete all the formalties within a weeks time.

It was informed that NOCs of two blocks in Kulgam, three blocks in Baramulla and three blocks in Pulwama are pending due to awaiting clearances from concerned departments.

Earlier, the concerned officers apprised the chair about measures taken by their departments.

The meeting was attended by ADC’s of Baramulla, Pulwama and Kulgam; Assistant Director Fisheries of Baramulla, Pulwama and Kulgam; District Mineral Officers of Baramulla, Pulwamq, Kulgam; Ex. Engineer, FBI Tangmarg; Ex. Engineer PHE, I&FC Kulgam; Wildlife Warden Srinagar, Shopian & Baramulla; Wildlife Protection Division Shopian; DFO, SFD Tangmarg; DFO, Social Forestry Div Kulgam; Tehsildar, Tangmarg, Karhama; Project Proponent, P&M Solutions.
