Rain and snow likely in J&K from October 13

Srinagar, October 11 (KINS): The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast heavy rainfall in the Jammu division until Sunday afternoon, with weather conditions expected to improve thereafter.
According to the forecast, October 12 is likely to remain generally dry. From October 13 to 15, generally cloudy weather with light rain, thunderstorms and gusty winds is expected at many places, with light snowfall possible over higher reaches.
October 16 is likely to remain generally dry, with brief spells of light rain at a few places. Dry weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir from October 17 to 23.
The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting and ensure the safe storage of harvested apples and paddy. The possibility of thunderstorms and gusty winds has also been indicated for October 11 and 13–14.(KINS)
