SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 10: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has condoled the sad demise of Dr. Ritu Gupta, Professor of Physiology at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
In his condolence message, Advisor Bhatnagar said that Dr. Ritu was an excellent teacher and mentor who always showed great empathy towards her students and others. The Advisor further said that due to her empathetic nature, Dr. Ritu had pledged to donate her eyes for any needy patient and her eyes were successfully transplanted to two needy patients on the day of her death.
The Advisor also said that the remarkable achievements of Dr. Ritu spoke itself of her glorious career and her death is a great loss to medical fraternity as a whole which will be very difficult to fill again.
Advisor Bhatnagar also expressed deep sympathies with her family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
