Srinagar, Dec 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank has released its Wall Calendar for the year 2024 with a unique twist—despite maintaining an identical design, the calendar offers three distinct versions catering to different regions. The differentiation lies in the inclusion of region-specific holidays, showcasing the bank’s attention to local nuances.
The J&K Calendar prominently features holidays specific to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, acknowledging and celebrating events significant to the region. Simultaneously, the Ladakh version of the calendar caters to the Union Territory of Ladakh, ensuring that the distinctive holidays in that area are duly recognized.
In an interesting deviation from conventional calendars, the rest of the country version exclusively highlights national holidays, abstaining from any mention of regional holidays. This unique approach underscores the bank’s commitment to tailoring its products to the cultural and regional diversity within the country.
This strategic move by Jammu and Kashmir Bank reflects a thoughtful consideration for the diverse demographics it serves, providing a calendar experience that resonates with the specific cultural and regional identities of its customers. The calendar not only serves as a practical timekeeping tool but also as a symbol of inclusive representation for the communities it serves.
