Athar Aamir Khan(IAS) Expresses Gratitude for ‘Opportunity of a Lifetime’ in Srinagar; Embarks on New Role as DC Kulgam

Srinagar, Jan 07: In a heartfelt farewell statement, Athar Aamir Khan(IAS) reflected on his nearly three-year tenure as the Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and CEO of Srinagar Smart City. Describing his time in Srinagar as the “opportunity of a lifetime,” Khan expressed deep gratitude for the chance to serve in the city that had been a lifelong dream.

“Working in Srinagar for almost 3 years as Commissioner SMC and CEO Srinagar Smart City was an opportunity of a lifetime. It was my dream to serve here. And these three years, I have lived my dream. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity,” stated Athar Aamir Khan.
During his tenure, Khan led numerous initiatives and projects aimed at the development and progress of Srinagar. His commitment to the city’s growth and his hands-on approach garnered him respect and admiration from colleagues and residents alike.

“As I move on to my next assignment as DC/DM Kulgam, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in Srinagar for all the support, love, and affection!” Khan added, acknowledging the collaborative efforts of the community in making positive changes.

The city officials, colleagues, and residents responded with warm wishes for his future endeavors, recognizing the positive impact he has made during his time in Srinagar.
As Athar Aamir Khan embarks on his new role, the residents of Srinagar express gratitude for his dedicated service and wish him continued success in his endeavors.
